Problem.
A child education center was looking to for a safe and effective disinfectant replacement in midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The facility previously relied on commonly available disinfectant wipes, rubbing alcohol and diluted bleach for their everyday disinfection needs.
Although the facility had a fumigation system, the disinfectant used was suspected to emit formaldehyde. Whilst having these procedures in place, no testing was performed to verify that pathogens are effectively eliminated.
The management of the facility wanted to ensure that a 100% natural, yet effective product is being used for the well-being of the children.
Solution.
Dermodacyn® Disinfecting Solution was introduced to be used with the fumigation machines at the facility. The centre now uses Dermodacyn® Disinfecting Solution to fumigate the facility after cleaning and to disinfect incoming students or visitors at the entrance.
Fumigation is much quicker than conventional spray and wipe and covers a larger area. Additionally, Dermodacyn® spray bottles are available in every classroom for immediate use throughout the day for disinfecting toys, classroom supplies and for general hand hygiene.
ATP Surface Test was performed throughout the premise after disinfection and safe levels were read.
